This dedicated system has been designed for use as Virtual Reception Desk or Point of Information Desk. This way, a remote receptionist can appear ‘as actually being there’ – standing behind the Front Desk - in front of a visitor. This way the complete Front Desk Service can be supplied over distance in a very realistic fashion. The unit delivers eye contact for the visitor. The display is full HD 42” LCD. The required footprint of this unit is less than 2 square meters. The unit can be totally customized to suit the needs of the specific requirements or purposes. It can also be integrated behind a wall or within an existing structure. The required functionalities are automated using AMX or Crestron processors. Add-ons such as badge-printers, ID-readers, physical reception of small parcels, document camera to read visitor’s documents, opening doors over distance, etc…. are all easy to integrate in the application.
