How does it work ?
In 3D TelePresence the image of the telepresent person is a physically measurable distance in front of a backdrop. This true depth relationship achieves a greater sense of presence. This invention has been granted a patent and is protected internationally by pending and granted patents. The viewer is looking directly onto a screen; directly through the special glass -called a "beamsplitter"-. This direct view of the telepresent person does not suffer from aberrations caused by reflection or color degradation. The image is crisp and clear and the audio is natural. The products are now in their seventh generation of development. Each generation can be attributed to product design modifications, field-testing and commercial applications over the course of pilot projects and large scale international implementations. The off-the-shelve equipment we offer, is user-friendly and really simple to operate and is durable, robust and extremely reliable. 3D TelePresence systems can be purchased without a codec. The systems are codec independent. That implies that you can choose your own codec and stick to your local codec supplier if you prefer to do so. As a result, it is possible to use 3D TelePresence systems and your legacy systems in combination with each other. That also means that you will not have to retrain the users because the user interface will remain unchanged. It also implies that you do not depend on one single supplier for the purchase of your codec. However, the systems can also be supplied including a codec. The codecs and displays are Full HD (720p60 or 1080p30) and feature data-sharing capabilities. The codecs are available in Multi-Pointing configurations (4-way or 8 way). Moreover extra powerful MCU-power, scheduling and network management resources are available to manage your infrastructure effectively.
