WHAT IS THE IN-WALL™?

A remote receptionist who appears to be physically at the reception desk

The In-Wall™ is a top-of-the-line Teleportel 3D reception model for attending reception automatically or from a remote location. Unlike a conventional 2D video screen, its Holographical Reality™ presentation is designed to make the remote receptionist appear life-sized, three-dimensional and naturally positioned in the visitor's space.

01

Live 3D receptionist

A receptionist can attend the desk remotely while interacting with visitors in real time.

02

Automated reception

The same reception point can also support automated visitor handling without human involvement when required.

03

Aligned eye contact

The patented presentation is engineered for aligned eye contact and a more authentic sense of personal presence.

04

Hidden technology

The camera and display are kept out of sight so attention remains on the person rather than the equipment.

BY SECTOR

Visitor experiences for different environments

Reception requirements vary by location. Digital visitor management can support the way guests, patients, contractors and other visitors arrive in different environments.

HOLOGRAPHICAL REALITY™

Why the In-Wall™ feels different from a conventional video screen

Teleportel's patented 3D Holographical Reality™ is designed around presence rather than simply displaying a remote video feed. The receptionist appears life-sized and in 3D, with aligned eye contact, while the camera and screen remain outside the visitor's view.

The effect is intentionally different from ordinary 2D displays and from consumer “3D TV” concepts that require goggles. No glasses are needed. The objective is an immersive, authentic interaction in which the person on the other side feels much closer to being in the same room.

The sound is also positioned so that it seems to come from the person rather than from an obvious loudspeaker, reinforcing the overall sense of presence.

DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION

A reception model designed for measurable operational change

The In-Wall™ is designed to combine personal visitor service with remote operation and automation, making reception a practical part of a wider digital transformation strategy.

No on-site receptionist

Provide personal reception service even when there is no receptionist permanently stationed at the desk.

Peak-time support

Use a remote receptionist to assist an on-site colleague during busy periods or provide backup when that person is absent.

One receptionist, many sites

Enable one receptionist or reception team to personally attend multiple reception locations from a remote workplace.

Cost + experience

Reduce reception operating costs while maintaining or improving the personal visitor experience.

The business case is not simply “digital reception.” The objective is to combine personal human service, remote staffing and automation in a reception model that can improve utilization and return on investment.

REMOTE RECEPTION WITHOUT LOSING THE PERSON

How the In-Wall™ reception experience works

The system is designed so that the visitor interacts with a person rather than feeling that they are simply speaking to a screen.

The visitor arrives

The In-Wall™ is integrated into the reception environment behind a customized wall or panel.

The receptionist connects remotely

A live 3D connection presents the remote receptionist life-sized at the reception point.

Reception tasks are completed

The receptionist can interact personally while connected peripherals support identification, documents, badges and other transactions.

PERIPHERALS & TRANSACTIONS

INDOOR APPLICATIONS

Designed for reception areas and public indoor locations

The In-Wall™ can be used in indoor environments where organizations want the technology integrated cleanly into the architecture and protected from public access.

Integrated behind a wall

The base unit sits behind a customized wall or panel so the technology remains discreet and the remote person becomes the visual focus.

Suitable for public locations

Equipment can remain hidden and outside the user's reach, making the concept suitable for visitor-facing environments.

Standing or seated

The In-Wall™ is available in standing-up and sitting-down configurations to match different reception concepts.

CUSTOMIZED TO THE ENVIRONMENT

Architecture, furniture, signage and equipment can be tailored to the site

The visible exterior of the In-Wall™ can be adapted to technical, functional and aesthetic requirements rather than forcing every reception area into the same design.

Cladding & wall design

Choose signage, colors and wall finishes to integrate the unit into the surrounding architecture.

Furniture & background

Adapt furniture and the visual background to the intended standing or seated reception experience.

Additional equipment

Add the peripherals needed for identification, document handling, badges, tickets, vouchers or other reception processes.

Despite the life-sized 3D presentation, the required space behind the wall is compact: approximately one square meter, comparable to the space occupied by a seated person.

IN-WALL™ EXAMPLES

3D reception kiosks customized for different environments

Teleportel In-Wall™ installations can be adapted around the architecture, reception workflow, branding and peripheral equipment required at each site.

REMOTE AGENT WORKSTATION

The i2i-Studio generates the 3D image from the remote location

To transmit the receptionist in 3D, the remote location requires a dedicated Agent Workstation: the Teleportel i2i-Studio.

The workstation is the remote-agent side of the Holographical Reality™ experience and is used to generate the 3D image presented at the In-Wall™ reception point.

AUTOMATED + LIVE

One reception point can support automated service and live remote assistance

01

Automated visitor handling

Use automated workflows for suitable reception tasks when live human assistance is not required.

02

Live remote receptionist

Bring a real receptionist into the interaction when personal assistance is needed.

03

Hybrid reception

Combine automation and live service so the reception model can adapt to visitor needs, staffing and operating hours.

WHY ORGANIZATIONS USE IN-WALL™

Personal reception without requiring a receptionist at every desk

The In-Wall™ is intended for organizations that want to retain a strong human reception experience while changing where and how reception staff work.

Centralized reception teams

A receptionist can potentially attend multiple reception locations instead of remaining dedicated to a single physical desk.

Reception continuity

Remote service can provide backup when an on-site receptionist is absent or support the desk during busy periods.

Visitor experience

The 3D presentation is designed to preserve personal interaction and create a more natural remote-reception encounter.
